going green at home...

Hi there! I am excited to share our plight with you to make our lives greener here at home. The more I research for our business, the more I have been feeling the urge to make changes in our personal lives. I admit that I felt incredibly uneducated when I started Googling the "green movement" months ago and realized just how much important information is out there regarding our health and our future that not public knowledge. I felt bad to know I was doing my family an injustice by microwaving our leftovers in a "microwave safe" plastic container, come to find out it is pretty much never "safe" to microwave plastic, as it compromises the chemical compounds, releasing unsafe chemicals into our food! It was then that I realized I had a lot to learn, and have been reading and researching almost incessantly ever since.
