This delivery was more yummy than the last! Purple Dragon co-op

What a delicious variety we received this Wednesday - bananas, PA cherries, NY basil, corn, Suyo long cucumbers, eggplant, romaine lettuce, red spring onions, peaches, sugar snap peas, collard greens, zucchini, CA carrots, cantaloupe and pluots(Marisa's favorite by far!). I made baked veggies last night with pernil, and am hosting a birthday party for my son here tomorrow where I will make a veggie side dish. I also still have the kohlrabi left from the delivery before, and am planning to make kohlrabi quiche tonight!
I am so happy to have found this opportunity, the kids simply love the surprise, tasting new healthy foods, and exploring their smells, colors, and textures too. The peaches are so fragrant, I get a whiff everytime I walk through the kitchen and get hungry, and the cucmbers are ones like I have never seen before, with long curly ends and bumpy skin like a gourd. Fun stuff!!!

On another note, GKP has an exciting announcement to share soon - stay tuned!
