Announcement

We are pleased to announce that we are now first aid, CPR, and defibrillator certified for the upcoming school year. Patty attended the class this past weekend at St. Peter's University Hospital and is excited to have such useful information and instruction under her belt!

It has been awhile since we have posted, but rest assured it isn't because we are sitting around twiddling our thumbs:). I did take a (much needed) family vacation for a week to Virginia Beach for a family reunion (and was pleased to read the extensive article in the tourist guide about VB "going green"). While I was away, we advertised at the Middlesex County Fair and are very pleased with the response we have received. We have also sent our proof to the printer to have two-sided, green postcards printed, offering information on what fruits and veggies to buy organic and the safest toys/toy companies for our little ones. Finally, we have been in touch with the CentralJerseyMoms editor, who has offered to publish our press release on their website. Finally, our wooden kitchen came in from Lakeshore Learning Store this week, and we are happy to report that it is exactly what we were looking for - pictures will be posted soon, promise!

We have also had two shares from the co-op since our last post and they were nothing short of delicious. I brought one of the shares on vacation with me, and the family (there were 27 of us in total!!) was raving about the delicious basil/tomato/mozz salad, the grilled zucchini, corn on the cob, fresh blueberries, and other various goodies that came from my share:).
